Taildragger Aircraft Magazine - The Norman Aviation Nordic II is a Canadian ultralight aircraft, designed by Jacques Norman and produced by Norman Aviation of Saint-Anselme, Quebec.

The aircraft is supplied as a kit for experimental amateur construction or as a complete ready-to-fly-aircraft basic ultralight aircraft.

The Nordic II is a strut-braced, high-wing,  two-seat, side-by-side seating, enclosed cockpit aircraft, with conventional landing gear, in a tractor configuration.

The Nordic features a welded 4130 chromoly steel fuselage, its has wood wings, and the craft is covered in standard aircraft covering material.

The cockpit is 39 in wide. The standard engines used are the 64 hp (48 kW) Rotax 582 two-stroke, the 80 hp (60 kW) Rotax 912UL or 71 to 100 hp and the Subaru EA four-stroke powerplants.

Construction time from the factory supplied kit is estimated to be between 300 and 400 hours.
