Belite Aircraft’s Chipper two seat  taildragger - Chipper, Belite Aircraft’s Chipper two seat experimental aircraft, in taildragger or tri-cycle gear. Belite Aircraft owner James Wiebe, indicated that the Chipper came about because he wanted to both take his wife flying in a Belite aircraft.

So using his years experience in building single seat affordable light planes he set his sights on "designing an aircraft with a high level of accuracy in parts production, and good repeatability in the build process.

The ‘airframe and sub kits include everything but the engine, FWF, instruments, and fuel tanks. Belite says the builder can select either a taildragger of tricycle gear configuration for their kit.

The first flight for the Chipper is was in April of 2017.
