Ultralight Aircraft Magazine - Copy 1 - The Aerolite 103 is a legal part 103 ultralight aircraft. It features all aluminum, bolt and rivet together construction, covered in dacron sail cloth. The Aerolite 103 is a tri-cycle gear, with a steerable nosewheel, in a pusher configuration. It uses a center mount stick with a yoke and a left hand throttle. The aircraft is equipped with electric flaps.

Copy 2 - The Aerolite 103 is available in a number of engine configurations, and comes complete with reduction drive, 2 blade Tennessee Propeller, a nose fairing with windscreen, an instrument panel with basic flight and engine instruments, including an airspeed, altimeter, slip indicator, tachometer, EGT, CHT. Suspension is provide by the main landing gear. The Aeolite 103 comes with a four-point restraint system, 5 gallon aluminum fuel tank, Azusa brakes, and a fully anodized airframe.

Production of the aircraft ended in 2005 when the manufacturer went out of business.
Several years ago the rights to the design were purchased by Dennis Carley of U Fly It in Deland Florida, and the Aerolite 103 is now available as a ready to fly, turn key, part 103 ultralight.

Airshows and aircraft expositions that we cover include, the Deland Sport Aviation Showcase, U.S. Sport Aviation Expo, Deland Sport Aviation Showcase, E.A.A.'s Sun N Fun, E.A.A.'s Airventure, the Midwest LSA Show, Copperstate, UPAC Convention and Aero Friedrichshafen in Germany. We try to regularly attend regional shows like the Arlington Fly-In, and Rocky Mountain Fly-In.
